If you're using Azarils Windower then you simply need to hit you screenshot button on the keyboard. This will automaticaly take the SS and save it in the screenshot folder of your windower directory.
As for recording video, you'll need a program such as fraps.

He is right. For recording video, just temporarily don't use Xunleashed and use fraps. Then once the video is done, simply deactivate fraps and reactivate the Xunleashed.

Extract the files into a folder. Suggested name "Fraps"
Once fraps is running just minimize it. You can then use it to make 30 second videos (hit f9 by default) for the free version. As well as take screenshots (f10 by default). Video and pictures will be stored in folders inside the folder you extracted your files into.
I am thinking fraps would work with an xunleashesd window, although I have not personally tried. If it doesn't (I really can't see why it wouldn't) then use azaril's windower. ( ffxi.archbell.com )

Yes, Fraps Will work with XUnleashed Windower. I've tried and been successful manytimes.
Unfortunately Fraps does not compress the video as you're recording so even a 10 second clip can be well over 500 megabytes. Excessive, I know.
But you can compress these yourself very easily using a nice little program called, Virtual Dub.

Warning - fraps causes significant lag unless you record to a second hard drive.
