I have been a massive final fantasy fan for some years playing ff VII all the way up to x-2 but would like to know what do i need to play FF XI Online.

I am assuming you need to buy the game from the shop, but do you have pay a monthly subscription for playing online or pay any account setting up fees ?

I am in the uk and any links or help would be much appreciated.

Oh i am aware of the addictive nature of Final Fantasy, notched up over 200 hours on FF VIII. The timer turned red after 99h and so did my girlfriend but that did not stop me

first you'll need the ffxi original. and then the expansion. good news for you, there's DVD set coming out in november with everything included. the vana collection 2007

Lol I bought FFXI the first day it came out in Australia for $100 and it costs $26 a month for me. Stupid exchange rates But at least it's worth it

I am getting a laptop, Final Fantasy 11 and two of the expansions for it on christmas then the next day im buying the third expansion.........can anyone tell me what a good race and job is to start out with? I hope so
