I have a question about unwanted actions... I have a spouse that play ffxi with me... we have two seperate systems so we can play at the same time... the other day a taru in windy started making sexual reference towards her... I told her to ignore him figuring it was a young player who didnt know better... but as we were leaving he got more graphic with what he was doing till we were to far to get the local information...

my question is was this a case for a gm call or would they not do anything about it...

I know that certain things wont ever change... but I dont believe that another person has the right to exhibit this kind of behaviour toward someone they dont know... and if you know the person and they dont mind then it is okay... but this player went far beyond just a flirting taru...

what do you think about it...

maybe not a temp banning, but yes, this could definantly be considered harrasment. just call a GM and say you feel threatened or something like that.

i agree, i think SE does too. its one thing to make a few Sexual innuendos but its quite another to become graphic and make some out of the line comments. I think its wrong to do it to people to you know, let alone people you dont know, just because its so disrepectiful.

of course, you could always /blist him

Tault_admin - Thank You for moving it. I though I put it in the right area, but found out afterwards I didnt. and I didnt know how to get it moved...

I have had a great experience on ffxi... and it been over a year since I joined... this is the first time I ever been harassed on line...

I know what I should do if it happens again... just am a little concerned that it could happen in the first place... as you said what if this had happened to a child or young person...
