We all know that Jeuno has airships to all 3 cities both ways. But sometimes a person doesn't want to travel all the way to Jeuno then to the next town.

What if they could fit routes that connected the 3 towns with each other, timed so that each ship would arrive and leave before the next.

Example> In Sandy it would be, Jeuno, Bastok, then Windy.

theyd make the ride take a half hour like the mhaura one, fuuuuck that. would be so cool to have a train thingy tho

it would cause a lot more of a strain on the servers because constant, constant leaving of boats and having to sync them all up, would cause some major problems. they just need to do like in wow with the portal thingys (i never played much so i dont know the names )

Yea, I have all the outpost warps. But I do like the idea of a train, that would be sweet.

yeah i started up on wow otherday (10 pass with a friend) and the train kicked !@#$%^*, its just nice to see the over all areas and stuff. but FFXI isnt really like that each zone is different so you cant really.. see each zone or something on a ship or train. what im trying to say is they need to let bonecrafters make porno mags in FFXI seeing as how they dont get any consumable items.

EDIT: or better yet let the damn taru's ride there summons!

Boats.. I remember when the boats on ROdcet Nife in eq actually worked... about 5 years ago they did an update that !@#$%^* up the boat syncronization and they never did get it workgin again.

A boat could actually prove useful, seeing as you can fish on a boat. So fishing while going to a city you need to go to seems ideal for someone who needs to make money.

Could you imagine trying to get over the bridge in Port Bastok if this were implemented? The only time it would be down is if a ship were in the harbor!! Other than that, I think it's a great idea!

The boats between cities would probably be more in keeping, but there is currently no infrastructure for them. They'd either need to expand the ports for new docks or set up scheduling for boats and airships using the same docks, which would then lead to ticketing problems. The tickets for the docks are currently sold by the air travel agency specifically for the airship. That would mean imposing a rank 5 restriction (or key item purchase) on using the boats also.

Chocobos should be able to fly!!! then we can just fly to wherever we want..>.>
