Here are some general rules I would really appreciate if people could follow. These are more or less guidelines, but they can make a huge improvement in the overall quality of the forums here at TU:
1. USE THE SEARCH BUTTON BEFORE YOU ASK WHERE OR IF WE HAVE SOMETHING!!! IF you use the search button, you will find it a lot faster than if you post and have to wait for a response.
2. READ THE THREADS BEFORE YOU POST A QUESTION!!! Odds are an answer has already been posted for your problem inside the thread somewhere and if you read, you'll save yourself and the person helping you the trouble of writing a nice, long response.
3. CHECK THE DATE OF THE FIRST AND LAST POST BEFORE YOU BUMP IT!!! We've been having a lot of posts be bumped over a year. Odds are, if something hasn't been posted on in over a year, it's no longer being supported by the site, and/or it's 100% broken. The ONLY reason you should bump a post over a year is to tell us it's broken or something like that, so we can move it to the nerfed section, and/or get it fixed/updated. Exception: If it still works, but you need help with it, then it's acceptable to post.
4. I ONLY ACCEPT YAYS AND NAYS THAT HAVE EXPLANATIONS AS TO WHY THE VOTE WAS CHOSEN!!! Please do NOT post a yay or a nay without a reason as to why you chose it, because I will not count it.
5. FOLLOW OTHER TU RULES!!! They're there for a reason!
