Assuming you're talking about Diablo 2, I played that steady from 2001-2003 before I converted to FFXI. Since I was the only one that didn't use those ith hack items, by the time the 1.10 patch came out, I was unstoppable in PVP for 2 solid months until I said screw it and started playing FFXI instead.

Usually my play cycle with d2 is play for 3 or 4 months, quit for a year or a year and a half and then play again for 3 or 4 months. Rinse and repeat. Its free so it doesn't matter.

US East is the one I used to play in... Not that it matters... I hated that game and I don't even play ANY games anymore lol

I've played HCL before, but I prefer just ladder. I don't die much, but every once in a while something stupid happens.

yea but hcl is so much more exciting... if you almost die it's basically the same effect you git when an NM pops in ffxi. 'OMG!'

Good point, it does add an interesting element to the game. Damn now I'm going to be forced to start a hardcore character, or risk going insane.
