sorry if a answer to this has been posted i looked over most the topics and didnt see anything i have heard rumers or programs that allow your lot on treasure items to be conistantly high. is there a scirpt to do this or is it even possible? i'd assume the number is generated on the server. also if possible is there a way to do the same with /random?

Nothing such has been posted here, only theories of their existence along with laugable "proof" for that existence.

i guess that means all the info is done on the server>.< oh well was wishful thinking probbly cant get done without break laws and acessing the server data and such then>.< probbly need to have designed the game to know how to do it at that point.

FFXI, just like many other random stuff out there, are using pseudo random numbers. Pseudo random numbers are generated using a seed, sometimes the computer clock.

It is true the numbers are generated on the server side, but the request is done by the client, so it is indeed possible to send the request at just the right time to always get good results.

I don't know how hard it is to find which of the common randomizing algorythms they are using.

correct me if im wonrg but what your where saying is that the server is constantly producing random numbers and what numer you get is based on when you type /random or hit cast lots. if that was true, in my eye there would be no way to know what number its on.

even if it were possible to know what it would be u would have to study it in your deathbed cuz it would take so long

he should get a reward, btw the clock random has been proven to be true because ive rolled double 999's and many rolls the same using it

because you could do it doesnt mean everyone can due to the many factors which will give you incorrect results. maybe when you sent the request for the random number you did not send it exactly at the time but one second later due to lag.

well just to let ya know.. and it's a rumor... people are making their own servers..... as in FFXI servers.... if we could look into possilbe server time applications.. could possibly get those algorithms down.. and make something to go along with it...

never doubt a curious mind.... if there is a will there is a way.. and all that other good junk.... *pokes lilfisher*
