I was discussing bounty hunting with another player today. I told him i try to stay out of pistol/melee range when fighting smugglers in order to fight them without them being able to hit me. Anyway, this player told me that there is a 64m range pistol that smugglers use. I was like wtf. I have never seen such a pistol, furthermore when i was grinding my smuggler (now respeced to spy) this would have come in handy for killing grauls. I asked a few friends in game and no one seems to know of a 64m pistol for smuggler. So I petition anyone that reads this message to please, please let me know if it does exist as I loved smuggler but hated the 35m range of pistols in mass pvp. Thanks all

There was a 64m pistol, but only because it was bugged in the NGE conversion. It has rifle stats. So its actually a rifle, not a pistol, and a very low damage one at that.

There was also a carbine that came out the same.

its called the blackhand annilator i think. tons of em with the 64m range still in circulation...well least on my server lol

There was also a skill in Expertise that increased pistol range but i don't know.

Thanks, it is the blackhand annilator. There were a few 60m range versions left on my server. Looks like I bought them just in time they are all gone now.
