PvP anyone [FIXED]
1) Be a Ranger, and have /rescue
2) Find a person fighting a monster/NPC
3) Target the Mob/NPC and use /rescue on it
4) The player will now turn and attack you
5) After the player lands its first hit on you, you will both be TEF'd and can attack them.
The other player will get the first auto-hit, but will be so confused by whats going on, you can easily defeat them.
Invisible
You can become invisible. It works until you have attacked one player, so its good to get the first shot on your enemy...
Anyways, here is how u do it.
Place an house, then "re-deed" it. And you will be invisible.
take care: Entering any building, crossing a server line, or taking a shuttle will reveal you.
user/option.cfg tuning [not a bug ]
Needs to be created with notepad or similar text editor.
(c:program filesstarwarsgalaxiesuser.cfg):
------------------
[SwgClient]
allowMultipleInstances=true # run more than 1 instance of SWG at a time
[ClientGame]
skipIntro=true # skips intro movie (not the logos)
[SharedFoundation]
frameRateLimit=99 # increase frame rate limit to 99 fps (FIXED since beta :/)
mob slowdown:
I am sure everyone who does regular solo hunting knows this, but as i couldn't find it here i will mention it anyway:
A combination of healthshot and warning shot slows them mobs down to virtually no speed. You can easily walk away from them, actually picking flowers, watch a movie or whatever, while your gun keeps nailing their HAM.
This works on all non-humanoid mobs i suppose (confirmed it a hundred times on picket longhorns, bols, fambas, snorbals). Thought it worked on Mokks aswell but not sure about that, because they are massively grouping and chaos prevents me from confirming this here. Plus these Mokks (humanoids in general) don't give a **** on WS.
How to stick them to the ground:
- pull with HS1
- backup/stack with HS2
- make them run with WS
- if needed spam WS as long as you are totally controlling the situation kiting the mob all over the palce.
- if distance feels ok turn around and run ( a little) encourage the mob to follow
(_key action_: lose mob out of your visual field watching the direction you are runnung at)
turn round look if mob stucks already, if not WS turn round, run a few, stop, turn back watch if stucked yet.
It will be nailed to the ground 98% of the time. I was able to nail any mob, it is just a matter of time. As those elder snorbs have many HP you have plenty of time to practise this.
WARNING: If bleed wears off the mob will be able to move freely with intended speed. Just refresh HS 1+2 during the battle

resource dupe [unconfirmed]
-Insure the resource you wanted duped
-Open the Split Menu and set it to one
-Find any aggresive mob you want to DB you
-Let it kill you and do NOT hit accept on the split
-When it asks you to clone, accept and keep to split menu open
-When its loading the cloning facility, yank the phone line out
-Come back in, bam, double resources
easy doc exp [unconfirmed]
You will need Advanced Wound Treatment for /healEnhance and to craft the enhance action packs (actions are the cheapest). get a non ch pet (any pet will do)
1. Call pet
2. Select him
3. /healEnhance action
4. Store him
5. loop!!
easy cr/xp
1. go to dantooine-imperial outpost
2. take 2 picket longhorn missions (they are not hostile)
3. head to the nearest one and go to a longhorn and sample DNA ( a /follow target then /sampledna macro works)
4. you may fail in sampling, just keep trying. Most of the time the creature will die, sometimes they live, sometimes they attack. If they do, just burst run to some npc and let them take it down. They will rarely DB you, so just stay cool if the incap you. Sample untill all longhorns are dead
5. shoot the lair ONE TIME and then hit peace, this will draw out more longhorns for sampling, and will eventually empty out the nest (theres about 10 inside)
6. Repeat this till no more longhorns come out, then kill the lair. Lots of sampling XP and lots of $$$
this works with all high CL mobs
