Use Carbine FireKnockdown and then ConfusionShot and SuppressionFire1 and the target cant get up anymore.
Just like the TKA move with KD and Dizzy!!!!
After that you can kick its !@#$%^* with your fists or whatever you want without any worry.
It only works on humanoid types.
I was using this on force using NPCs.

if they have fencer/tka/ any other melee that lets them recover from a KD then I doubt you'll get the dizzy/kd off.
