Just plant this baby close to the things you wanna kill (they must use melle attacks)
stay on the other side of the harvester and just keep killing them with no fear of retaliation.

I have tried this witha structure factory unknowingly, and you can shoot through the walls, and the thing cant get back at you (as long as it is melee)
