Theres no super trick to this, just let your clothing decay. Even when it says the clothing has been disabled, the stats from your socketed or BE'd clothing will still be in effect.

not sure about this i hear they lookmlike there still there but really there not working

THey do currently work but soon they are patching it so 0 clothing does nothing.
Right now tho it does work.
