This exploit uses SOE's "transfer character" facility to clone your main character from one server to another, but leaving it on the main server! Just do this:

log into char you want to transfer (ingame), run a macro so it doesnt AFK log you out
Goto transfer page on SOE's website
Go through the transfer process, choosing your server etc.
it will say that it failed as you are logged in ingame and an email will be sent
Now logout of the server and viola! You have a clone of your character on whichever server you picked on the transfer list, butt naked with 100k credits and your skill tree, you can even clone your Jedi
There will be the standing order charge of £30 but as it failed it will dissapear after a couple of days

But that can be easily tracked by SOE in the future i think

One more thing, i started the process and got diconnected even runing macros, logged on again and got disconnected again, so i didnt finished it because i thought it might disconnect me to transfer the character. Has ne1 tried this after august 4th?

This is interesting.. quite interesting.

However I am not sure I want to try it. But then, it might go quite unnoticed. It would be no different than creating a new character on a server in the logs i think.

But this would definitely be a perma-ban offense if anyone caught on to it. Count on that.

At the point where the confirmation screen comes up and it proceeds to billing it disconnects your character regardless of whether or not you are running macros.

i almost got it, i got past the disconnect, but after a while i got lag and got logged out
