Yes u can experiment some, but there's no money in it.

Those of us who have hi point CA's can still make decent money on armor, but after the NGE, anyone could loot wpns from any npc, if you looked hard enuf you can still get hi damage wpns with low combat skill required.
So it's become non-profitable for any new master wpnsmith to attempt to make wpns and vendor them, profitably.
After a recent publish update, newbs can now loot armor off various Npcs if they look hard enuf.
So now, the stoop** devs are trying to phase out elder master armorsmiths, so it seems.
It would be non-profitable to become a new master armorsmith, unless u can get resources for RIS and Mando armor.
This orig topic started out with what foods or drinks give experimentation points....and in the old days, it was a worthwhile topic to talk about, but these days, it's too costly, and gathering the proper resources is highly time consuming, unless u have deep connections.
Anyone here contemplating hardcore master crafting, listen to my experiences. I've been crafting for 3 yrs.
Shipwright crafting on ELITE parts seems to be the last viable money maker. Make a name for yourself with reliable and quality crafting, and u can sell a set of ELITE parts for 6 to 8 million creds.
