When you about to explode or just wanna reach the planet space station fast, just type: /escapepod yes and your ship will explode! Yet you will get free repairs. Hope this will help a little.

I'm not a fan of space, although I have an Ace, it took me almost a year, so I never take much notice of space fixes/patches.

No there is no decay in space anymore.

Hello All:

I use this command everydays, after all space run. (The last time Yesterday in the night).

When u use overloads 3 and 4 programs (RO,WO or WCO)Ç, ur shipparts armor "decay" loosing value.

As far as I know, CTSS, or shield adjust have no effect on any part.

If your ship is destroyed outside of DS, your Ship Chasis will be affected, decaying. If you repair your ship in a space station or landed with the parts repair kits, the affected parts will be decayed, and you will loose a percentage of your armor ship part stat.

All of us know that the DS option will repair your ship but the "/escapepod yes" command is fully working as of today. Far away, I have this command in my toolbar (a little macro).

I have read somewhere that this decay parts issue? will disappear soon but as a matter of fact ship parts and chasis decay, nowadays.

Note: This command does not work for POB and the POB escape pod will not repair your decayed ship components.

Thanks gagaiwas, I just found this out and posted it, I normaly dont do much Pilot Stuff, thanks for posting the add on

This definitely works, however I wouldn't go so far as to call it an exploit as it has been determined to be "Working as intended" by the devs, which is why they have removed/are removing decay from using repair kits or station repairs (can't remember if they've done this yet).

Certainly useful for getting to a station quickly though when you're miles away.

Agreed...somewhat-

There is no decay in space, except on overloaded components. Using /escapepod yes will avoid the decay, EVEN WHEN IN A POB. I tested this last night, and there is decay with overloaded components, but /escapepod yes will avoid the delay. - On a POB, the command will not work, but using the escape hatch produces the same results.

But- I vote NAY on this as an exploit. It is well known, and is a feature of the game, and not an exploit.
