I'm not sure if this has been covered b4 as i am a newbie starting today. But, here we go:

I found this while doing many missions solo in the Privateer Pilot profession grinding my way up. Doing this, I only fought 1 enemy or 1 incoming attacking group vs. a whole ton on some missions. Simply disable and leave the 1st attacker or group you encounter. On my escort missions, i did this on each recover/escort in the mission. Then you never get attacked again while escorting. I had one where i had to defend an area to buy Hutts time to infiltrate. I just disabled 1st incoming group (had to do a second group also). Had 6 ships out there disabled...none others came. No exp for the kills, but the missions are a breeze. Would work any faction and on most missions i assume.

Yup, this is an old one, but very useful anyway, especially with how difficult it is to find a group to fly wingman for you. Good eye!

I grinded thru like 7 missions in 3 hours last night. I got so comfortable with the escort and defend type missions that i took out 1st attacker and set to follow on escort and did some housework. I came back and watched it finish without a scratch
