Hello. I'd like to share with you an experience about small toons and wonder if you noticed the same: for few weeks now players using small(est) toons when coming in melee to me suddenly seem to stick on me for 2-3 seconds and right after that rush away (at incredible speed). Did you ever notice the same and what do you think it is? (for me it doesn't seem to be be related to a specific profession, and I'm jedi).

this would be lag, you can keep running in the same direction that they were headed and you will catch up to them once your network connection, or theirs, catches up to the server.

Smaller toons legs move faster too (because everyone runs at the same speed). It's probably just a visual/lag thing.

it doesnt just happen with small toons, happens with them all. i have seen it happen many many times in restuss during pvp. if you continue moving in the same direction as they were going, you will stay with them when they warp. very similar to the rubber band bug.

Most of the time it happens when a player throws a grenade. they'll run in place for a second then warp away extremtly fast

not - its while they are running away they pull there modem plug, when reinserted - they warp away ahead of you "sometimes 20m, sometimes 100m" - also works sometimes when they are incapped... many times its useless whuile incapped - but when force running from 1 or 2 people, it can be successful.
i know plenty of rebels on that do this.
im imp by the way...
