Macro's from one toon to another

Sorry if this has been posted, and not sure if it's a help to any one, but, I have a couple macros set up, for ig combat, buffs and such, on loop.

One of them hits the top toolbar slots 08, 09, 00, to fire some buffs off every 4 mins, anyways, after switching toons tonight, I was sorting mails and suddenly I was on my pet.

Coz the macro I had on loop, triggered on the switched toon.

Not sure how useful this is, but handy for combat maybe, if you have your toolbars set up the same on both toons.

I do not see how this would really be of any use.

Not sure if this was explained very well so let me take a crack at it. I don't know that its useful, but I do know how it works.

I like to use a sit/stand macro for afk purposes. So lets say I start the macro on Toon A of my account. Then I logout and return to the character selection screen and choose Toon B. Once I enter the game, the afk sit/stand macro is still running. This only works if the toons are on the same account, and if you changed characters by going to the character selection screen.

This has been around forever. It can be a pain if you have macros calling ui hits designed for one class and toolbar on your alt. It doesn't matter if the characters are the same server or not. The account uses the same macro file for all toons and if you don't log all the way out, the game keeps running the macro until you do, or you /dump them.

Hope that explains it.
Also its a Yay for working. However, its not the most useful thing.

I have yet to figure out a real use for this (like getting the 2nd toon to be able to use an attack that it doesn't have) so to me it's useless. It's a bug that's been around forever. I used to spam the MO, switch toons and the 2nd toon would still be running the spam macro, so more annoying than anything.
