Haha! No joke, seriously doing this right now with chance cubes. It's caused by the new nerfs on crafting macros. But I figured a way around it. As soon as I can get it working EVERY time, I will let you all know the details. But seriously this is how I figured it out:

I was naming the chance cubes a certain name. I would then run a macro for part of the crafting process to speed things up, but it would actually instantly create a generic cube named "Chance Cube and then my second named one would come out right after. When I created the one I named, I had 710 aluminum and 478 chemical. As soon as the second one came out of the hopper I still had that amount of resources. It's awesome. Now I'm going to get risky and try it on some ship parts since that's what I make.

And another thing, it's not trackable as far as I know because when I looked at the serial number of the item it was completely different. Can't wait to show this to you guys. Just give me a few hours. I may be testing this till I go to sleep, but should be able to give the details by tomorrow. But thought I'd share the good news.

I haven't been this excited since I came up with the create a city with 2 accounts exploit :) And that was back when they required 10 people.

!@#$%^*, I can't stand it anymore. Someone help me out. Here's what I'm doing:

1) Firing tool from toolbar
2) using /ui action defaultButton; command
3) entering resources
4) using /ui action defaultButton; command again
5) Clicking yes to move on to results window
6) using /ui action defaultButton; command again
7) Clicking no so that I don't finish the item yet
8) renaming (optional)
9) using /ui action defaultButton; ;pause 1; /ui action defaultButton;

Ok now I could have sworn that I this was exactly what I did to make it happen 2 times. And I know that I got it to work at the most 2 times because I wasn't naming ANY of them Chance Cube and yet there they were in my inventory named Chance Cube. If anyone could play around with this method, you may understand it better than me at 12:40 in the morning. It really does work though. I hope it just not random though and some sort of lag glitch or something.

On a further note, you must not be near a crafting station so you don't get the experiment window.
