I typically use up 500-600 per bag of 50 items, so 10-12 per. I start with +23 to +25 loot only tho.

It usually takes me a crate of 25 shirts to go from 23-25 to 35. This mean 25 cycles of RE which is 50 junks (25 junks A +25 junks B), in order to make a single +35.

Note: This is an average I made through long RE sessions. A +35 can be done with 10 cycles as 30cycles. By making a bot reversing 25 times each bit you will end for sure with +35.

starting to sound like it is more profitable to just sell junk loot when you figure in the cost and hassle of acquiring all the materials

I use the afk loot del script and have been running the last three days and looking junk for my guild crafters. As a result I have already gotten offers for gear to be made up for me, free of charge as I am supplying them with the pieces they need.

So that works for me.
If I can pay someone else to do the work, that is experienced and find a working relationship that its all good, credit wise it won't cost me anything.

If you don't want to delve into that aspect of making your own bits and haven't thought about it already. Supplying a fellow player with the parts is a viable option of you want to farm the pieces. In the last 24 hours I have picked up nearly 5.6k in junk loot. 15 Stacks @ nearly 500 per stack. That is quite a bit if junk loot.

I use a combat droid and my Ent to loot low level mobs.

Now if you were to sell off that junk loot on a zar/forum you could very well make a decent credit as well.

This is my experience thus far.
