I'm sorry I have not posted in many months. I was in the Army and was needless to say very busy. I am retired now and I came back here because I am once again play SWG, only it is now called SWGEMU. Now I wanted to start this thread as a premium Discussion to keep it from spreading outside this site.

Wow, I havnt played SWG in years. I'm glad to see some interest still there.

Well, we know people are working on stuff for the EMU, so what ya got?

SWGemu has alot of flaws but the basic stuff most people test against is solid. Need to think outside the box to dupe etc

There's definitely some bugs still in the SWGEmu. If you can read C and grab a copy of the server software and just start reading it you're bound to find some stuff. Most of it is hard to access, and requires some hardcore modifications to the client so my solution to that was to write a filtering proxy for the game's network protocol and eventually a minimalistic client for the game (no rendering, just basic botting). The SWG network protocol is a little insane, but it's not too terribly complicated with the help of the SWGEmu server source being open source and they've also documented a decent amount (though the documentation was hard to find).

This allowed me to do some pretty interesting stuff, sadly they've caught on to the most interesting exploits by now and fixed those. Still, I'm certain there's much more to be found if you just dig.

Now that the factory hopper dupe and the adk dupe have been fixed on basilisk, does anyone have anything decent for earning creds?

I know people are exploiting the DJM on dath , I know how to spawn them over and over (using the old Imperial prison quest bug from back in live, easy to find how to do this with google), but I'm wondering how they are taking them down, unbuffed, so quickly???

I was thinking of playing again. Anyone got anything yet?
