We don't have any good guides for playing the markets properly. By markets I mean "trade routes" as they are often referred. Essentially there is more than just "trade routes". Certain items should yield a higher profit per m^3. I'd just like to see a guide with tips and tricks to some of that effect. I have seen good tools for figuring this stuff out but a lack of real profitability that I can see in most common stuff.

One tool I have is called "Eve Market Scanner". I found it on the market forums on eve I think. It lets you analyze market data from multiple regions ect. It seems useful but... Im too lazy to compile anything useful... So someone write a goddamn guide. A good one too.

I am making The Hitckhikers Guide to the Galaxy volumes; I will talk about playing the market in Part 2 of the series right now I am talking about mining.

Mining is easy, you grab the bot I wrote in the other section and set it up. Goto sleep, wake up and have tons of minerals =)

I guess I might just have to learn to play the market game the hard way.

I am against botting, I just AFK mine.

Buy low sell high

trade between different constellations

check the market prices all the time
takes some time but selling little and often produces more isk over time
than the 1 time big sell which takes ages to find

Trading is pretty simple. You've just got to know where to look. Make www.eve-central.com your friend. Using the trade finder and making sure the trade route is still alive by using their market export app will see you making millions in a matter of hours.
Go buy your races industrial ship, fit it out as many Expanded Cargohold 1s as you can. If you want even more space, fill your inventory with Giant Secure Containers. The giant containers take up 3,000m3 of space, but can hold 3,900m3 space.

My best so far was a trade route i completed in 20 minutes. Made a profit of approx 20 million.
