How we are stopping leaked macros.

We have actually 3 different approaches we are working on. Here is my favorite and probably the most expensive but hey everytime people contribute to Tault we are able to save up for even better things.
Well as you know we are goign to redo the whole site as a database and then the site is going to be amazing to say the least. Anyways though we are going to have special sections now for everyone. On top of that we are going to either build our own, or hire a 3rd party contractor. Which in turn will allow us to create our very own macros. This in turn is going to let a special user authentication with the site.
So then you just download our macro program and just run our scripts. If you dont have a subscription well then the program wont validate. Therefore we can protect what we make.
Not saying this will happen for sure but this is the result we are working for.

thats a good idea, but couldn't someone just look at the macros since you have to download them. Then just copy them?

the could i guess... but this new thing will reduce the amount... you can NEVER make the macros bullet proof from being stolen unless you question every person that downloads it lol

well tbh wouldnt it be better to make a bot for this? Macros r okay and all but as far as i kno there is not 1 single english l2 bot out there and if we had 1 it would attract LOTS of ppl here and im an optimist here so mayb they wun leech it to other sites and if thts a problem mayb get it set up to be the 1st thing to be protected like that. That would be awesome!

that would be cool and you could have like seperate macro codes per class that way to eliminate having to make slight changes then ppl would stop sayin they dont work plus it would make it easier for ppl who have no idea what they are doing (like me)
just have it so u dl the macro code you would need

Well its going to mainly be its own program that we can create bots for. Then like the program will ask you some different things to insert ie your max health, monsters to kill, ect ect. It will then kill all the critters you want and edit itself accordingly

So will we actually have a BOT as advanced as the chinese use? Ooooo i cant wait!
I dont want anymore macros bots r the way to go!
