Some info about bots plz

Hello, I'm new to the site and quite a n00b in L2 also. I'm a veteran at D2 and have been using bots for it a long long time and I love it.
Can someone tell me how the bots for L2 work? Are they easy to install/configure? What chars do they work with? Is there a certain class I should make? Anything you know about L2 bots will come as new to me, so plz tell.
Edit: how safe are they? Do they immediatly ban your account/cd key or IP?
