I know alot say that the Homo is best with Acumen but I Like to one shot mobs or 2 shot them. So the Highest Matk is my goal.

I would try the SOWD with magic power or Empower but don't have enough adena to try them all to see which is best. Is the +99 Matk from the magic power worth is? Also the empower is only +24 Matk so I take it that the +24 matk is for your Matk stat not +24 matk to your weapon which would make a much better difference. +24 matk dont seem like much so can any elaborate on these SA's for me and If these are worth getting instead of the Homo sword with Acumen?

Also if you have done the dmg stats with these three weapons on a mob and let me know the difference in dmg would be great. I would say that 99 more matk would do only like maybe 50 more dmg to a mob or something which would be lame.

I'm pretty sure that a little extra M attack is not as good as casting speed sinec I doubt it adds more than 50 damage. If it works like Pattack it wont add that much more damage

The best C grade mage weapon is the weapon that allows you to 2 shot mobs if you are a nuker. The best SA for a weapon is acumen. Magic Power is no good, you drain mana too fast for it to be worth anything. Empower is ok, but doesnt really affect your damage. Acumen is cool for c grade, but the matk isnt there on the homunkulus. So you have to overenchant one, or buy an overenchantedone. I went with ghoul staff with mana up over acumen. Ghoul staff is cheaper, mana up lets me solo longer without downtime. Acumen's only real advantage is in PVP, unless you are fighting 2x hp mobs (which everyone knows is bad for a nuker, unless you can 2 shot them).

If money is no object, get a +10 homu w/acumen or greater.

For half the price of a +10 homu you could get a +9 ghoul staff which has 4 more matk...

For Pvp You need an Acumen weapon. Homunk sword is a pvp weapon.


Ghoul Staff * mana up * Perfect weapon for leveling. High matk and mana gives you more time standing and less time sitting

you need to ask yourself... do i want to be good at PvP or PvE ?

PvP = weapon with acumen (dont matter if Matk. is not the best)

PvE = Weapon with high Matk. (the Acumen is not so important)

I have a lvl 72 Spell Howler, she is using a staff and she is still wearing C grade Demon set (Demon set is +4 Int)

The Demon set has lousy Defence stats, but i dont care.. No mob hardly ever gets to hit me anyway.. Besides most of my jewls are C and some even D grade too.. LOL

Once i have top LvL, i will start to wotk on a good armor and some acumen weapon to make a very good PvP char..

I would go for demon set and a ghoulstaff. Get some XP !

OMG on what server u play at lvl 72 with D and C i play on server with rates 4X(Zues)and im a not a bigger but not a pro and i have A grade

well 4 me i get the weapon with the bst casting spd.. since u can hit them from far away y not run after u hit them.. since u got alot of casting spd than u should b able to hit and run fast and the mob that ur killing dont even have a chance of hitting u..

U can use an acumen weapon to lvl fast if you have a rechager with you (SE/EE).
