L2 clan crest help

I want to make a cool looking clan crest, but find myself lost.
I have photoshop and familiar with the basics, however a few tips and tricks on how to do this would be awesome. ^^

First, the dimensions needed...
Clan Crest - 16x12 pixels
Alliance Crest - 8x12 pixels
*All need to be saved as a 256 bmp
So make a 24x12 pixel image in photoshop/fireworks/paint. Split your image when completed. When your alliance tage matches your clan crest, it makes it look more formal.
If you run out of ideas... Do searches on objects. Make sure to search for small images so you get an idea how big it will be.
MSN Images
Google Images
Yahoo Images
AOL Images
If you can't find how to convert your image into bmp 256, save that images as a jpg/jpeg, and open it with paint. Once opened... go to File > Save As...
You will see inside Save as Type:
256 Color Bitmap (*.bmp; *.dib)
Save these files as a short name and in a easy place to import.
Example 1 (BAD):
Saved - MYFAVORITISTCRESTBMPEVER.bmp in C:/program files/lineage II/crests
When in the game, it will ask you for the location of the file. You then would have to type out:
C:/program files/lineage II/crests/MYFAVORITISTCRESTBMPEVER.bmp
And when in game it doesn't allow copy/paste.
Example 1 (Acceptable):
Saved - 1.bmp in C:/crests
When in the game, it will ask you for the location of the file. You then would have to type out:
C:/crests/1.bmp
Much easier don't you think? After you have uploaded your crest it is safe to delete the file you originally saved on your computer.

If u whant to have original clan flag, I suggest you to make flag with transparency....
OK use whater image editing application you want to make an image with 1 transparency layer, and save it as a gif...[if you cant figure that out, then your probally makeing your image in ms paint... >_>] ok then, you have a gif image, which obviously isant supported by lineage 2, so you have to fix this!!... ok start up MS paint, and load up the GIF... you will see a WHITE background, ignore it and save the image as a 8-bit bmp, or a 255 color bmp image... then when you uplaod the image to Lineage II, it will have transparency....

actually yes, there are many website that provide them, goto google and type
Lineage2 Clan crest I'm sure you'll find something. First you need alot of money, you need a level 3 clan to make crests (I think) either that or its 4. ALOT of money and SP.

to put a clan crest on you go to your persons inof, n then go to the clan tab

i have tried to put a crest but it doesnt show nothing
.
i have done all the steps and nothing appears on my chars head.
plz help.
