I talked to a Dev last night after a +envoy got him from talking to me. Zyrca was the one who I spoke with who inturn got Orion.

I managed to dupe a fire rend wand. One that blew up the night before. I just found out how.

You have that bug where the inventory "hotkeys" are set and you remove something and that item still leaves a black box in the hotkey after the item is off your toon.

This dupe bug works with that one. Very intresting how I did it. And I am sure with alot of effort we can perfect it.. Btw... it's UNDETECTABLE by Turbine (Words from Orion).

1.Hotkey and Item.
2.Log Off (save)
3.Log On
4.Have the charactor set in the options panel to open a secure trade window by dragging item. I would do this after step 1.
5.Log off again
6.Log back on.
7.Drag the item to a player... so it opens a trade window.
8.Hit trade.
9.Log Off.. You might have to tinker the item after you log off prior to logging back in to "Change" it.
10. Log back in..
11. Your done. Enjoy.

Now this is a give and get. This is how it happened for me. It's not fake a Monarchy of 3000+ on MT witnessed it happen. When I told her I still had the wand she blew up.

Do you drag the item from you pack?
On step 8 do both players hit trade?

Also, do you think this might work with any item?

[edit] - After some extensive tests... We need more information... did you hand it from the hotkey icon, or the inventory icon? Was it a wand? staff? orb? Was it already tinkered? Do you need the black box at the hotkey bar first in order to do this? More information please.
