OK I tested this last night and it worked great!

1st - Have a bow and buy over 250 arrows. It seems you must have 2 stacks of arrows.
2nd - Go hunting and use up all your arrows. Your 2 stacks will now say 0 arrows in each.
3rd - Get a friend to transfer you Adena, I did this with 13k and it worked.
4th - it will now show you have 2 stacks of Adena, your original amount+the amount traded. PLUS another stack of the amount traded!
5th - transfer both stacks back to your friend.
6th - rinse and repeat!

You can't have two stacks of arrows when it automatically stacks them Are you talking about 2 diff types of arrows? (bone & regular) And I'm sorry, but that is a very vague description. Does your friend trade his both 0 stacks for the 13k or just 1 stack or none at all?

All I know is that I bought a tone of arrows (wood) and it made two stacks
when Adena is traded to friend it combines into 1 stack
Im just telling you what I did

Friend gives me all his Adena...I dont give him any arrows
