Puppetmaster has the joy of having many evasion stat boosting equips along with an inherent evasion job bonus at level 20. This allows a full Evasion Puppetmaster to work wonders in Ballista. Let's breakdown some of the nice equip:

Back - Boxer's Mantle - +10 Evasion Skill - Lv 70
Body - Aketon +1 - +7 Evasion +6 AGI - Lv 60
Feet - Raven Gaiters - +5 Evasion - Lv 50
Ring - Breeze Ring (x2) - +5 AGI (x2) - Lv 72
Hands - Raven Bracer's - +6 Evasion - Lv 50
Head - Optical Hat - +10 Evasion +10 Accuracy - Lv 70
Neck - Evasion Torque - Evasion Skill +7 - Lv 65
Weapon - Hades Sainti +1 - Evasion +9 - Lv 70
Ammo - Fenrir's Stone - Evasion +10 (at nighttime) - Lv 70
Earring - Bat Earring (x2) - +15 Evasion (x2) - Lv 57
Belt - Life Belt - +10 Accuracy - Lv 48
Legs - Raven Hose - +10 Evasion - Lv 50
Food - Jack-o'Latern - +10 Accuracy +10 Evasion
Lv 20 Evasion Job Trait - +10 Evasion

Sum it up and you get:
+17 Evasion Skill
+103 Evasion
+16 AGI
+30 Accuracy

With a Puppetmaster's Evasion Skill capping out at 250 on a level 75, plus this nice equip, most foes should basically have a wiff-fest against you. This build works really nicely against melee's, but like all builds there is a weakness, which is mages. This basic setup, (or a mod of it to fit your gil capacity) should set you in the right direction for Puppetmaster in Ballista. With practice comes perfect - so get out there and have fun with this new build.
