Double Job abilites

When using a Job ability, like Divine Seal, Elemental Seal, Flee, Berserk and any others that give you a status effect. If you talk to an NPC the buff will not wear until the timer has run out AFTER you stop talking to the NPC.
So with that being said you could pop Flee, go AFK for 5mins come back and finish the conversation with the NPC and then you flee timer will be ready while you are fleeing! Super useful for getting around town.
I imagine this could also be used with 2-hours. Maybe talk to an NPC or ??? near your HNM or what not and while your waiting for you event to start pop your 2hour then have your timer for when the event starts.
This could be REALLY handy with Sentinel and Defender for Paladins as well as DRK JA's at Jailer of Love.
Imagine KCing with your buffs for 2 turns in a row! Or super stacking hate on Kirin!
Note: You can put up more than one JA and have your timers go down.
No, Flee does NOT wear after you are done with conversation. I've tested it, Sentinel could be used twice at the beginning of fight to stack hate. My LS has been doing this for ages.
It works for me and all of the PLDs DRKs and THFs in my LS so you must be doing something wrong. It needs to be an NPC with continuing chat.
Kirin's ???'s is a continuing conversation, therefore you can pop Sentinel and Defender for Kirin and let them recharge. You obviously do not realize the potential of this. Also you can talk to a Quasilumin near JOL (my LS happens to camp on top of the Quasilumins for that reason.)
Just because you cannot use this properly does not mean this should be nay'd.
DON'T NAY THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT

Definitely not worth premium, and I honestly don't see the usefulness in this... By the time you got from ANY NPC to the JoL like you mentioned, your 2HR or JA would be gone, not to mention on Kirin.... Come on dude... What NPCs are near Kirin? Even if you counted the ??? as an NPC, it vanishes instantaneously as soon as the triggers are traded to it.
So please don't lie and say this is more useful than it is...
And your example of using Flee.... 100% false, 100% inefficient.
The ability doesn't wear off during the conversation, but it DOES wear down. So let's say you hit Flee, and talk to the NPC immediately afterwards. Your flee will stop at about 24/25 seconds, and then as soon as the conversation is over it will end.
This whole thing is 100% false, useless, and non-premium worthy.
Sorry bro, but next time, don't lie for premium.

Well, unless this update today changed something.. the flee thing does work. If you flee to a NPC then start a convo (more than one line conversation) then leave for a while... or if the conversation is a cutscene, when it finishes you'll still have the flee effect on for however long the duration was when you first started talking to said NPC. Try it with a conquest guard. Get to 1 step before they give you Signet after fleeing and wait for a while. (This is also funny to trick tele-whores.. get the tele-whichever but just before you disappear talk to the guard. You'll be stuck there until you exit the chat. Be all "ZOMG I FORGOT I DUN HEF DAT TELE LAWLZ"
But really, not worth a premium. Talking to ???'s don't work either, unless they are for gobby CS's then you could sit in the CS for a while... but yeah, no useful NM's are close to that.

~Nay, didn't say it earlier lol
And Vax, I tested this to prove I was correct, and it only lasts for 2-3 seconds after the CS is over if you spend an extended period of time inside the conversation with the NPC.
What I did:
Clicked Flee (while wearing AF boots), hit NPC immediately (signet in bastok), then I went AFK to take a crap, came back, got out ot the conversation, started counting down, barely got to 3 seconds before it canceled and said, "____'s flee effect wore off."
So it doesn't work.

Can't delete last post, so have to double. Please forgive me m(_ _)m
Ok, had to prove I'm not crazy about the flee thing...
Area: Tavnazian Safehold
NPC: Storage Armor by MH (Ratonne)
Test:
Hit flee and talked to NPC.
Went afk to go pee~
Selected my stored AF armor.
Hit no thanks.
Ran down the hall, after 30 seconds (I didn't put on my boots) flee wore off.

That's.... Wow... I have no explanation for that....
Why can you get that, and mine cancels? Could it be the increasing effect of the boots? Maybe I'll try it without them...

i say yay, (but not full premium, maybe some tubucks) i tried it with my 2 hour, talked to signet npc, went afk shopping lol, came back a few hours later and finished talking to npc. 2 hour was still on but was now ready.

Shadow, It's got nothing to do with the boots D: I did it with them on too. Maybe the game just likes me better =)
And yeah... talking to a NPC with your 2hr up in town... does a LOT of good.... And face it, if your LS needs to resort to using exploits to take down mobs in this game... they fail. The only hard thing to do in FFXI is claim mobs and manage your invintory.
