Sometimes it becomes hard to keep hate up during experience party battles, from my own experience as it is ninja can do extremely well at main tanking and keeping mob focused on him, in addition casting Kurayami (Blind) here and there can do well to build hate. Once utsusemi: ni is acquired the timing between using utsusemi: ichi and ni can just about be perfected to keep shadows available. I tend to start off with utsusemi: ichi prioir to engaging into battle, this serves best to have the next set of shaodws available from utsusemi: ni. This also should have the recast time down and rdy again to cast utsusemi: ichi.

I've also heard rumors that subbing warrior and using the job ability provoke helps with this as well. But then again you cant believe everything you see on the internet.

I have heard the same, but I have also heard that, that no longer works. I havent really looked into it, just read an article or two.
