are there different ways to get memberships in knightonline

hey, i was reading an old topic and this guy sed that u can get a gold membership in knight online by getting 1000 manner points, is it true? also, what are manner points and how can i get them and where? and where do i g2g to exchange the 1000 manner points for the gold membership if its true?
