You can also slide with normal attacks and while sliding, you will be able to hit normal+skill at the same time. To do this...
1)Select a target with z or click on them.
2)Press up arrow (and hold) to run toward the target.
3)Tap r to start attacking the target.
You will start to run toward the target and when you get in range, you will hit it with melee, then press skill number to use and extra skill at the same time. This enables you to stop the cooldown for your weapon.
Note: While standing, you are not allowed to use a skill and normal at the same time, sliding disables the animation that takes time for the cooldown to happen.
4)After you make the hit, your character will continue forward (dont release up arrow)
After a while, the character will make a 180 turn and come back to make another hit. This means that you dont need to stay and take ALL the hits while waiting for the weapon to attack again since you will be out of range for the monster's attack.
I once somehow attacked a monster 3 times consequenly without needing to wait but i havent figured out how. It is possible that it has something to do with tapping r several times after the initial hit. This let me score a ~700 dmg to a DTS using normal attack (This can be considered an extra 300% skill) + my 600% skill doing a total damage of 1.8k.
