The syntax for the macro (and macroslot) command is: /macro <string1>"<string 2>" This creates a button in the first open spot on you current hotbar. The name of this button is defined by the text in string 1. The text of string 2, which must appear in "quotes," is the actual function of you marcro button

Marcos are easy to make, here is a simple one. Type in chat /macro Hi "local Hi $target" The first Hi is the name of the button that goes on your hotbar. Local Hi meens you will say Hi locally. $ separates target from the sentence. target meens who ever you click on, the sentence will say that name. Now when you click the button you will say locally, Hi <target>. In stead of $target you can also have $archetype $origin $name $level

This is a add on from my last post, /macro Hi "local Hi $target$$emote wave" Now you will say "Hi <target>" while waving. You can replace Wave with any emote you want.
