I ordered XU over a year ago, I used it in daoc , cool.

I didn't realize Paypal was a subscription
Didn't cancel, got charged an additional 20$

I tried to get the refund, didn't work.

Cancelled the subscription to make sure it didnt happen next year..

The best part is, I can't even use XU for the extra year I was charged for. I PM'd the admin about this a week ago, no replies.

Don't you think I should either get the 20$, or the year? I wouldnt mind keeping the program an additional year, but to get nothing for 20$ seems a little harsh.

Also, you can probably get a refund if you dont want the service. Just ask him about it, he is very easy going about those things, because the best advertisement is happy customers.

I did, I emailed him several times and PM'd "admin" here.

I've gotten no assistance whatsoever so far, that's why I turned to posting ;/

edit- I also don't mind using XU for another year since I paid for it, but when I tried to login with my already downloaded software it said my account was cancelled since I turned off the subscription

I've pm'd the admin twice about getting my premium membership status back.. Once in july, and once a few days ago.. Gotten no response so far.. I used it for daoc before, but I quit that so havent really bothered with it untill now that WoW is coming and I see theres a map thing on its way..

I have pretty much the same problem, but I don't want a subscription I just want my money back, pmed about 2-3 days ago, I'll wait alittle longer, but this is kinda !@#$%^&* me off, it overdrew my account. I really don't want to have to deal with getting my bank to cancel the order themselves.

I used this proggy for about 3 months, forgot about it.. Checked my account balance and found out I was charged $20 for it.

Sent Admin an Email, waited a week. Sent Admin a PM, waited a couple days, got a response, he told me to file an appeal with www.paypal.com and once he was contacted about it through them, he would refund the money.

All in all, it took me around 2 weeks to get the money back, a week was wasted because of Emails I sent that pretty much never reach him.

Anyway, he seems to be pretty up front and willing to work with you on returning the money. Just takes time for all the 'e-paperwork' to go through.
