If you go to the social district and head over to the car customizer or the costume customizer, just hit "F" and sit in it.
You get achievments for spending time customizing your look or your vehicles look.
Some of the rewards are instant money.
So when you go to bed, just leave a character AFK, after you reach level 15 on the rewards, just mail your main toon the cash and start over on a new toon.
Its easy.
