Once a winning bidder is determined, the winner will receive the item and the seller will receive the money from the winning bid less a service charge.
And now we see the TRUE reason SOE is doing it.... another opportunity for PROFIT!
"Why let ebay take our money! we could be having the players pay US to transfer items for real money!"
Sounds like a good idea, in a greedy way.

It was only a matter of time. It's only another few years before they will sell accounts to-order for players - go on to their site and either purchase a 'combo deal' or put your account together 'ala carte'.
"Want to start up a character to play with your lvl 50 friends? No problem - just pay us the low-low price of $5 per level, plus costs for items..."

If they had it at that price I'd have a level 50 on Test TONIGHT hehe.
