Any better?

I quit the game awhile back, was jsut wondering if it ahs gotten any better? The grind got to me pretty fast, but I loved the atmosphere. Also, it felt sort of empty, not many people around.

Same thing was with me, I played back in December and after the first month I cancelled it. I finally renewed it this month and its soooooo much better in my opinion. Its sorta empty (matters what level you are) but there is alot more money in the econamy, and alot more stuff to do it seems like. im loving it!

Well, I'm a Shadowbane player, used to fast leveling and PvP. But, I do love the Fantasy environment. Think it's worth me buying the x-pack when it comes out and coming back?

Well IMO there is not a grind like in EQ1, you can quest your way to 50 (or pretty close). Big difference in having no other options but to kill to gain exp. and questing for exp.
I personally have changed to grinding because I got tired of questing. There are tons of things that are fun to do in EQ2.
Just my opinion.

Oh man the game was way worse when it first came out, IMO its a whole lot better now...Especially since no more locked encounters and group exp debt!!
