One of my EQ2 accounts got banned. Apparently high npc kills and long sessions draw attention as well. Had top npc kills on my server. Was running bot in a very low traffic area and no one sent him tells or even came around where he was all day.

Just what do you consider long sessions, if I recall I think you were the one running the entire time the servers were up which is a great case for investigation.
I think they have a tool for checking play time for the month and most likely ran it and said hrmmmm no way can a human play that much.

Well at least I can't do that. My wife likes playing too much and we only have the one computer now.
Running the same account 24/7 is just plain stupid.

Wow that sucks. Sorry to hear.
It never crossed my mind about running a bot too much. I guess it makes sense. If they seen your account playing nonstop for hours and hours (more than humanly possible) it would be a dead giveaway.
I wonder how much EQ2 in game time is reasonable?
