I got a question. Outside of the obvious, obversing repetitive actions and/ or not getting a response from a player. How would anyone tell your using macros? Would there be a way for them to tell by chat log or something?

Whatever you do in game, they can see.
Weather it be chatting, your movements, etc.
Just be careful.
The chat log is the easiest way to detect somebody macroing. Especially if you sit for hours at a time saying random keys (ie macro fails somehow and you wind up telling they keys that you are pressing for macros, etc)

It's the reason if you look at the DAOCMegaBot code, there is a lot of "extra" code that does just about everything random, random pauses, random actions, turning, running, ignoring, etc. I try to make it as non-macro looking as possible, though nothing is fool proof - espcially if they find it running in memory

I died while crafting. I lay dead for probably a good while and never accepted any raises that were cast on me. I am pretty sure people probably had an idea I was A.F.K. That was a couple weeks ago and I am still botting my crafting. So far EQ2 is not monitoring that as far as I can tell. They have to many other bugs to work out hence all the servers were down this passed Friday from noon until Saturday at about noon and as a result 1 of my characters lost 3 crafting levels and about 75 gold and the other lost 20 Foresting skill points.
