GMGrog: Kazac - yes, 3rd party macros are against our policies. We banned a set of like 60 accounts a few days ago for that. Crafting, for example, for 12 hours straight with no pauses or anything, no responses to tells, etc. Unfair so we booted them permanently

GMGrog: Character crafts crafts crafts, doesn't respond .. summon them 10 feet away, stop crafting (no table nearby), no tells... summon them back, OH, they started crafting again...

GMGrog: Obvious macro set up to exp eternally without them at keyboard. Very unfair, very bad, and they are now very banned.

Thats it. No response. If i use Macros or so im near my PC most time (afk for Kitchen and so on for short is no problem) and watching tv and chat. So not ban at all *G*

Took them long enough to start banning people for it. I don't need to worry bout it though, I made 50 already.

Hmmmm, maybe someone can write another macro that runs in the background that responds to /tell then makes them walk away and camp.

The tell detection will be part of the EQ2Crafter 3.0 API release.

random short pauses would be a good thing also. but the biggest thing is dont craft afk

Problem is, when I am crafting, I tend to have several of my inventory windows opened and it isnt uncommon for me to cover up my chat window. On a couple occasions after closing those windows, I have found that someone had sent me a /tell. I dont know how much time elapsed before I answered them. I have honestly set in front of my monitor crafting for several hours before with no macro running. If I dont see a /tell even though I am not afk, does that mean they are going to ban me? Going to have a lot of unhappy people if they start doing that.

Guest, yes, that is why they will move your player away from the crafting station and then back and see what you do.

A movement detectior will be part of the 3.0 release also.
