EQ2Crafter Idea

OK...

From talking to a few folks that have banned accounts from macroing, it looks like this is the procedure for checking to see if you are macroing...

GM sends a /tell
GM moves the character
GM moves the character back

If there is no response, and the char. starts crafting again, the account is suspended or banned.

My suggestion is for the macro to do a /loc on every loop. If the location changes, simply post a canned response (WTF?!) and do a /camp.

Any thoughts?

Yes, GM's have access to your chat log.

If they see a bunch of /loc's in there they can assume that you are macroing the command. I mean if you are crafting for 4 hours and have a loc every craft... or even every 5th craft, it will be very obvious.

I almost have the EQ2Service ready and it will have an API for loc.
