XU Ignores Mouse Input

I thought I might have seen another post on this but I can't seem to find it.

I'm new to XU and can't quite get to the point of running a script. XU loads fine and I can get into EQ2. The menu bar at the bottom works but when I get a window to open it seems to ignore my mouse clicks. For example when I try to check compatability mode or change scripts the mouseclick goes is ignored by XU and instead affects EQ2.

I've tested with the DX Test apps and it works fine, it also works fine before I actually get completely into EQ2. Ive tried changing a few of the options for EQ2, I went to windows update to make sure .NET etc was updated. I've reinstalled, unchecked the packet sniffer, removed all plugins and of course rebooted many times :)

It seems like the hook is just not catching my mouse after a certain point in EQ2. I'm sorry if I missed it in forrums. Any help / ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Should have made this a sticky...

Open your persona window and place it behind your XU window. It should work fine after that.

What you should try is move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and select the EQ2 plugin. Then to click the buttons in the plugin move something under the EQ2 plugin popup, like the Inventory box (hit the "I" key), you should be able to click the buttons and manipulate the pulgin now.

Thanks! I know I read that before but didn't quite comprehend it. That works perfectly.
