Very simple.

Un-equip it, mount it as a house item and remove the mount.
It returns to 100% condition again.
Works on my Greater Lightstone.

Works on everything I've tried so far (jboots, fbss, efreeit boots, tobrins) apart from the glowing black stone - this item currently has no mounting option.

But a great cash saver nonetheless

This trick works for GBS now
