Hello, I recently purchased unleashed since i've just started eq2 and wanted a decent scripting engine for it. I have run into a couple problems that I have not been able to solve. When I open up the macro or script window from the bottom bar I can do nothing with them. It will open up the ui box but does not allow me to type into the window, switch a script, record or play any macro or run the test scripts provided.

I have been reading through the forums here and found I am not the only one with this issue and the only thing given to fix the issue is "turn on compatablity mode" The problem with this is you cannot turn on compatablity mode. If you mouse over the checkbox and click on it you will see a red X appear for a split second then just dissapear again.

I have included below a copy of my log fire. Near the bottom you will find a warning "Requested DirectX9 Screen Format may be incompatable with XUnleashed."

I've shut off packetsniffer, run in windowed and in full screen mode to no avail. Other then that im at a loss.

you have to open up a window behind the script box to interact with it press the button p which opens up your persona window and stick that behind the script box you will be able to interact with it then.

Ok hate to bring up some old crap, but where on the screen does the script box appear? Middle bottom? Middle Middle? Left Bottom? Right Bottom?

I am so lost. I have gotten everything up and running together now, just cannot find the script box. In the meantime all of the other newer posts with questions concerning the script box have said the question has been asked a million times so they werent going to answer them however I cannot find any answers by searching.. ugh.. help

When you fire EQ2 up down on the bottom menu bar that pops up is a button called "scripts". Press this button and a little window about 2"x2" in size. This is the window you "MUST" have an in game menu behind in order to use. Your scripts are listed in the center of this box with little arrows allowing you to move past and back again to diff. scripts. At this point get the script name up you want to use and press start.

Now something you need to know is NEVER press F12 to escape, this is something XU added in their program to screw with the minds of the weak. Always use the correct exiting keystroke the script calls out or you will crash XU and EQ2.

Don't try to run a bot like MegaBot or Harvestor bot in agro area untill you have mastered them in grey areas, it will just lead to you getting frustrated and racking up exp. debt.
