Possible horse exploit.

After the recent change in resale of horses I wondered....
If i buy a horse with status and money.
Guild lvlv drop and resale it would i make a profit?
Need a guild exacly on lvl 15 that drops a low status patron and check it.
Probably will never be confirmed but might have something here...

Hrmm ... shouldn't -- since the whistle should be flagged as being a "status purchased" item; it should rebate your Personal Status and give you nearly the coin you paid for the horse.
Still ... be interesting to see if they missed that detail, somehow.
Also, if you buy your horse before your guild hits a "cheaper horse" GL, you can sell back your normally-priced whistle (getting most of your coin back), then buy one of the coin+status whistles. Let me tell you, for the 9p horses ... it's pretty nice to swap some personal status for a few plat.

I just tried and you get all your status points back but the buy back price is reduced. I didn't actualy sell it back but it lised a reduce price.

So if i buy cheap and sell high I might get more money...need to check..

You can't sell horses to other players. They are listed as No Trade

I was just referring to buying the tier of horse you wanted before your guild was high enough to get the "status discount", then selling your non-status back and buying the status one to recoup some cash.
Not sure if any of the "trade NO TRADE items" tricks work for a whistle -- but there's things I'd rather sell than a horse, if so!
