EQ2 services for dummies PLEASE!

Can someone make a sticky for this, i've been trying to get it to work for 3 days and I can't. I don't know much about programming or anyhting of that sort so could someone who has gotten it working please make a sticky for it that is indetail for someone who doesn't know anything.
