When I start via the Xun, it loads fine till the character select screen, then when selecting a character it crashes out (this is done in fullscreen mode).

I dont believe I am running the packetsniffer (unless it is called something else).

Im lost, have followed the advice in other posts here but not sure what is happening.

I disabled all of the plugins and was able to get into the game using the software.

As soon as I enable any plugin the game crashes as normal.

I am having the same problem. It boots up the game fine but when I am at the character selection screen and hit play it crashes?

I had to cancel my account unfortunately.

This seemed to be more fuss than was worth.

If you are on a AMD processor, please read some of the stickies.

You have to replace the radar file with the AMD compatible one.

But Im not using the radar program (the map one correct?)

This is mentioned in the EQ2 crafting text file

January 14, 2004 version 2.3

1. Fix for AMD processors. And this time I mean it.

So according to that, the program should be working for me.

If I use the default plugins, I still crash.

This shouldn't be happening, should it?

Edit:-Spelling sorry =p

I was going to say make sure your using latest version of DirectX, like 9.0c or something I think....

Just an idea. I believe I figured out my crashing problem. It seemed to go away once I was able to find the .xui file for the eq2services plugin. Whew, on to other headaches :)

This program and it's scripts are def. not for someone looking to have hours flawless botting with little to no effort on their part. It takes ballz to set these things up if your not a programmer and the sack to put them in if you stick with it long enough to understand them..

Yea lor, on the one hand I do appreciate the troubles I am having (whether they are my own or not) as I wish to get into this sort of development. Gives one a better understanding as to how all of this works rather then just clicking a button and whalla!

Turnball what IMO you need to do is make a new post with the issues YOUR having. I was reading thru so many other posts you have added to about issues your having I was getting confused to what your issues were and what ones you have fixed and still need help on.

Maybe it was just me...

yea I was thinking the same thing Loriak. Short of the post about the launchpad, I havent started one of my own yet, just thrown around adding on to others. I think ... now.... I know what my issues are and can accurately complain about them :) Look for my very own post coming up!!

I try my best to make things turnkey. Ie with default config options and everything to run right out of the box. Problem is that right out of the box I guess doesnt work for everybody.

Some things are very hard to troubleshoot when they are working for 9 people and 1 has a problem.

FYI, it is alot easier to get help by starting your OWN thread rather than joining another thread. Because answers for one person might not be the same for another.
