Here is a neat trick when adventuring.

There is a quest(can't remember which one) that gives you a bag that can only hold gathering items. Get this...

Then when adventuring simple make sure you have on free spot in it and you will be able to pick up loot forever as what doesn't fit in your other bags will overflow.

Not sure how many you can hold. I had a lot last night. Probably around 15 or so.

i'll try and confirm this later tonite but, whenever i have overflowing it wont let me lotto on lewt or harvest but technically ya do have a free spot so i dunno lol

Anybody have any idea what this quest is called and where to get it. I would love a gathering bag as I do alot of it.

yes, you get em from lots of quests, one of em i can think off the top of my head is the crafting quests in your TS instance, you get a 10 slot one

I think there are several bags that are similar. At least two from collection quests and possibly some like the tour quests of Antonica or Common Lands that gave out bags.

I've got several of these bags- they've never actualy rejected any non- collection items....Either Im grossly misunderstanding this, or we're playing different games...

Some of the bags you get from completing some of the collections quests has that description. Kinda like 'can only store collectibles in this bag' etc etc. But its just a bogus typo or misunderstanding since all those bags can hold all kinds of gear, collectibles, harvests etc etc and what-nots. Anyways, best bag in game afaik is the Huge Collector's Pouch, wich is a 30-slotter and you get that from completing Feerrott Fern Leaves Collection. Buy the collectibles from broker or go harvest a month.

so- can anyone confirm there is a bag which actualy behaves in this way? Yes, we know there are many bags that indicate in the description that they only hold collectibles, but I've yet to come across any that actualy enforce that restriction. If there is one, can we get a definitive name on either the item or the quest that gives it? For the record, I can tell you from personal experience that ALL the collection quests that involve leaves give bags that hold anything. I've done them all. I have not done the one alluded to above (given out in tradeskill instances), so perhaps thats the one being refered to?

So did anyone ever confirm this and does anyoen have a list of containers that are for harvesting/collecting ONLY?

It is the bag you get when you do the initial quests in your tradeskill instance. you have to complete several quick quests crafting an item from each of the various tradeskill types.

Lvl 43 now and I still carry this bag due to the overflow "feature"

Last night I had about 30 items in my overflow after a couple of day not leaving Feerroot.

So let me get this straight, If I leave at least one slot in my "Harvesting Bag" open, I can continue to pick up loot items even when my other bags are full?

That would make sense in a way. The game thinks you have another slot in your bags even though only harvest items will go there.

I definately need to check this out.
