Kinda off topic but am looking for a way to mask background tasks for EQ2 and other future releases, did Blizzard look through the Task manager or how did they get the program info. that was running on peoples machines?

They use a program called warden. What it does is it checks to see if the games .exe has altered memory mainly. Then they boot you. At least that is what many thing is the cause.

Does XU do any altering or rather would "they" be able to do a search in the memory for applications? Is that possible?

I have read about Xhume but still sketchy on it's useability atm, as I understand EVERYTHING script wise would have to be re-written to use with it right?
